Anthropic Told Investors Its Third-Quarter Revenue Hit $16.8 Billion — Up From $11.6 Billion in Q2 (+45% QoQ) — and Said It Was Adjusted-Profitable and Cash-Flow Positive at $1.70 of Revenue Per $1 of Compute

On Oct 14–15, 2026, CNBC reported, and BBC and Reuters corroborated, that Anthropic told investors its third-quarter revenue stands at $16.8 billion, up from about $11.6 billion in the second quarter and $4.7 billion in the first — a roughly 45% quarter-on-quarter jump. People familiar with the investor briefing said Anthropic also told investors it was profitable on an adjusted basis and cash-flow positive in the third quarter, generating $1.70 in revenue for every dollar spent on computing power, according to the Financial Times as cited by CNBC. Anthropic declined to comment. The figures are from people familiar with the matter, not an official company release. A Wall Street Journal report that investors expect $110 billion in annualized revenue by year-end is a forecast and is not used here.
